I tested out of school half way through my Jr. year to pursue a professional motocross racing career (technically I graduated in the Class of 78, so no Sr. picture). That didn't last long due to multiple injuries . . . or the propensity to get injured. I returned to school and graduate university in 1983 with my class, and with degrees in Philosophy and Legal Studies. I went back into the motorcycle industry, on the manufacturing side of things, while attending Business School, where I earned an MBA. I've been in manufacturing ever since, currently owning a medical device company with my lovely wife Denise. I have three kids, 28, 25, and 23, the youngest wrapping up school at UC Santa Cruz, my Alma Mater. We currently live in beautiful Floral Park, Santa Ana and own property in No. County Dublin, Ireland, where we plan to build a summer home for retirement. I'm a visiting lecturer at Chapman University and UCI in their respective business school. I continued to race motocross as a hobby until about 5 years ago, when I gave it up due to multiple injuries, taking up road bicycling instead. Denise and I travel the world extensively with the business, just returning from a bicycle tour of the south of France. We consider ourselves blessed beyond imagination.
